The story of Paithani
On the banks of the Godavari, in the town of Paithan, weavers have created Maharashtra's most celebrated textile for generations. Its roots are often traced back over two thousand years to the Satavahana era, when Paithan's silks were traded as far away as Rome.
Traditionally handwoven in silk and gold zari, Paithani is loved for its peacocks, lotus blooms and glowing borders. It's the saree a Maharashtrian bride wears, and the one passed from aaji to aai to daughter.

What makes Paithani special?
Paithani comes from Paithan in Maharashtra, where it has been woven for centuries. It's traditionally made from silk and gold zari, known for its peacock and lotus motifs, and its craft received a Geographical Indication (GI) tag in 2010. It's one of the most treasured textiles in Maharashtrian homes.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure around your dog's neck where the collar sits and allow two fingers of space, then match it to the size guide above: S 9–15 in, M 15–22 in and L 20–30 in. If you're between sizes, go one up; the buckle adjusts down.
Are the tassels safe?
They're decorative, so please keep an eye on your pup while they wear it and don't let them chew on the tassels. Take the bandana off for naps, crate time and unsupervised play.
Does it fit big dogs?
Yes. Size L fits necks of 20–30 inches, made for large breeds like Labradors, Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds.
