The ruler of the house
They have their own throne, the best corner of the sofa. Their own court, a family that drops everything when they walk in. And a royal decree that every guest must say hello before anything else.
Shahi Neel is the bow tie that finally makes it official. Deep royal blue silk, tied into a crisp, dapper bow, for the one who's been running the household all along.
Raja, rani, or the goodest boy: royalty is in how much they're loved.

The story of neel
For thousands of years, India was famous across the world for its deep blue. The word "indigo" itself comes from the Greek indikon, meaning "from India", and Indian blue travelled the old trade routes to royal courts far and wide.
Here at home, neel has always meant something special: the blue of Krishna, of monsoon skies and of the finest festive silks. Calm, confident and regal, it's a colour that never needs to shout.
