Heritage Collection · Paithani Shaan
Aamchi shaan, aamcha laadka.
Some things a family is quietly proud of: Aaji's Paithani, the shine on the Diwali brass, and the dog who greets every guest like royalty. Paithani Shaan brings them together in one dapper bow tie of authentic Paithani silk.

Gharachi shaan
Remember the first time you brought them home? The neighbours peeking over the gate, the kids naming them three times before dinner, Aaji pretending not to care and then saving them the last piece of chapati.
That little one became the family's shaan, the face everyone asks about first. Paithani Shaan honours them the way Maharashtra has always honoured what it holds dear: with the finest silk in the house.
Paithani for the ones we treasure. And we treasure them the most.
Paithani
पैठणी · the silk of Paithan
Maharashtra's most treasured handwoven silk, named after the ancient town of Paithan on the Godavari.
Shaan
शान · pride, grace, glory
For the dog who is the pride of the family, and carries it with every wag.
The weaver's art
Paithani has been woven in Maharashtra for over two thousand years, named after the ancient town of Paithan on the Godavari. It's a slow, patient craft: traditional Paithani motifs are worked into the cloth by hand on the loom, colour by colour, and a single traditional saree can take months to complete.
Its peacocks, lotuses and parrots have graced Maharashtrian weddings, Mangalagaurs and Diwali pujas for centuries. It's the saree that's never just worn, but handed down, from Aaji to Aai to the next bride in the family.
An heirloom craft, for the newest heir of the house.
